PawDoc is intended for pet owners aged 13 and older (16+ where Article 8 GDPR applies without parental authorization — see our Terms of Service) and is not directed to children under 13. This page explains how we approach children's privacy.
1. Not directed to children#
PawDoc is a general-audience pet-health tool. Its content, design, and subject matter are not aimed at children, and we do not market it to children.
2. We do not knowingly collect children's data#
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (the threshold under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "COPPA"), or under the minimum age that applies in your country. If you are under the applicable age, please do not use PawDoc or provide any personal information.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the required parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@pawdoc.app and we will take appropriate action.
3. Age thresholds differ by region#
Minimum ages for online services vary:
- United States (COPPA): the children's-privacy threshold is under 13.
- EU/EEA (GDPR Art. 8): the age of digital consent is 16 by default, though individual countries may set it as low as 13.
Because PawDoc requires users to be 13 or older (16+ where Article 8 GDPR applies without parental authorization — see our Terms of Service), these thresholds are addressed by our eligibility requirement together with the "we do not knowingly collect" commitment above. The store listings carry a consistent 12+ age rating.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used PawDoc or given us their information, please contact privacy@pawdoc.app. We will help you review and delete that information.
