This notice is for California residents and describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the CCPA/CPRA). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

PawDoc applies these protections to California residents. Some CCPA obligations apply only to businesses above certain thresholds; we provide this notice for transparency regardless.

1. Categories of personal information#

In the past 12 months, PawDoc may have collected these categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA):

CategoryExamplesCollected?

We collect these from you and from your device/use of the app, for the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy (providing and securing the service, billing, analytics, and support).

2. We do not sell or "share" your personal information#

PawDoc does not sell your personal information, and does not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. Because we do not sell or share, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" action is required — but you may still exercise the rights below. [Operator: confirm the sale/share determination for analytics SDKs before launch; if any qualifies, add the opt-out link and honor Global Privacy Control signals.]

3. Your rights#

California residents have the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose to.
  • Delete personal information we hold (with limited statutory exceptions). Use Account Deletion.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — not applicable, as we do none.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive PI beyond permitted purposes.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

4. How to exercise your rights#

Submit a request by emailing privacy@pawdoc.app or using the in-app controls. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (extendable by 45 more where permitted).
